You Don't Have to Figure Out Your Gorge Wedding Alone

You've probably heard of a wedding planner. Maybe a day-of coordinator. But a wedding concierge? That's a different thing entirely, and honestly, it's the thing a lot of couples didn't know they needed until they found it.
Here's the simplest way to think about it. A wedding concierge is like having a really well-connected, deeply knowledgeable friend in your corner. Someone who knows the Gorge inside and out, who has worked with the vendors, walked the venues, and can answer the questions you didn't even know to ask yet. Not someone who takes over your wedding, but someone who makes the whole process feel a lot less like you're figuring it out alone.
That's what we built Gorge Wedding Concierge to be.
It's not the same as a full-service planner, and that's the point.
Full-service wedding planning is wonderful, and for some couples it's exactly the right call. But it's also a significant investment, and for couples who want to stay hands-on, who have a clear vision and just need support executing it, it can feel like more than they actually need.
A concierge fills the space in between. Maybe you've got the big stuff handled but you keep hitting walls on the details. Maybe you're planning a Gorge wedding from out of town and you genuinely don't know which florist to trust or whether your venue requires a separate catering contract. Maybe you've booked a few vendors already but something feels off and you just want someone to gut-check your decisions. That's exactly where we come in.
We offer support that's flexible by design. A pre-planning consultation to get you oriented and moving in the right direction. A booking concierge service for couples who want someone else to handle the vendor sourcing, scheduling, and contract logistics. And our Beyond the Day Premium Guide for couples who want a curated, local resource for building out their wedding weekend experience. You can use one service or layer a few together, whatever actually fits your situation.

Who is a wedding concierge for?
Honestly, it's for a lot of different couples. It's for the out-of-towner who is planning a destination wedding in Hood River and doesn't have the local knowledge to navigate vendors, venues, and logistics confidently. It's for the DIY planner who has been doing it all themselves and has hit a wall. It's for the couple who already has a coordinator at their venue but wants an extra layer of Gorge-specific support and expertise. And it's for anyone who has looked at their wedding planning to-do list recently and thought, "I just need someone to talk me through this."
We've been informally doing this work for over a decade, consulting for friends, collaborating with couples, connecting people with the right vendors for their vision. We know this area, we know these vendors, and we know what actually makes a Gorge wedding work. Turning that into something we could offer more widely just made sense.
The Gorge is a special place to get married. It's also a specific one.
Planning a wedding here isn't quite like planning one anywhere else, and couples who try to treat it like a generic venue search often run into surprises they weren't expecting. The local knowledge piece matters more than people realize. Knowing which venues have sound ordinances and how that affects your timeline. Knowing which vendors work best together. Knowing where guests should stay and how to get them from point A to point B without chaos. That's the kind of thing that takes years to accumulate, and it's exactly what we bring to every conversation.
If you're in the early stages of planning a Gorge wedding and you're not sure where to start, or if you're further along and just feeling like you could use a knowledgeable friend in your corner, we'd love to connect. That's what we're here for.
